I have been working for DirecTV since Oct.31,2011. As of Feb.2012 the company started paying us incentives for equipment sales. According to the reports that my team leaders got every week, my equipment sales were not showing. I told my team leader Chris Janecki, and Kathyrn Allen that I have been selling equipment and did not understand why the report would state other wise. So I started keeping track of my sales in May. Due to confidentially I had to give the name and account numbers to my team leader or operations manager and could not keep a record of them. In May, my team leader Kathryn Allen informed Ernest Bullock our OM that the report was incorrect and that she had proof that I had been selling equipment. Ernest then made a report and issued a ticket on the issue and nothing more was done. In June I spoke with Paul Deux, another OM about the same problem. He looked into it and found out that I had been given an incorrect log in and that was why my sales were not being tracked. I was then told that the company would reimburse me the money due to me. On Sept 5, 2012 I was told by Paul Deux that the company would not be paying me for my equipment sales that did not track. Not even the ones that he and my team leaders had proof off. I feel that this money is due to me and I should not be penalized for the companies mistake. I know I most likely will not see this money, but they should at least pay me for May, June and July. This company can not get away with this. Never in my life have I been cheated out of money from an employer, and I hope that I can help future employees from having to go thru the same problem as myself. The excuses I keep getting from the OM's and the company as a whole is that due to me being a rehire, is the whole issue. What can I do to make sure this never happens to another person? Is there anyway I can get the money that is due to me?

  • What equipment do you sell? I've never gone with Direct t.v., usually Dish, with them the hardware was free with a subscription. I'm with comcast now and we pay a'RENTAL' fee, Sorry not sure how they phrase it. What equipment would be regarded as a 'sale' for you?

  • I do apologize, I should have been more clear. The equipment I sell are standard receivers, hd receivers, hd dvr, dvr, cinema connection kits which is for the internet, and our newest receiver the HMC which is an hd dvr that can record 5 shows at one time. For each hd, hd dvr and dvr receiver sold we make $10 each.
