I received a call from a person calling himself Alex Arroyo from American Vacation Group (AVG). He said that he had offers for rental and purchase of my time share unit. He sent me info via e-mail about his company. H e sent me a contract document to read and sign for the rental and one for the sale of my unit. He cited certain State fees that needed to be paid for the transaction process. I sent payment in the amount of approximately $2,000 to cover the rental and sale of my time share unit. He promised that I would receive payment for the rental of my unit and then payment for the sale of the unit by August of 2012. Needless to say I have gotten nothing and the phone number he left me has been disconnected.
