I ordered an all singing all dancing alarm clock at the cost of £29.99. Features are :-

This radio controlled alarm clock is time synchronised with the british atomic signal. It automatically adjusts for british summer and winter time without you having to touch it. The secret is that it picks up the official British standard frequency time signal effective up to a radius of just over 1448km, controlled by the national physical laboratories in Cumbria. Ideal for the mantle piece or bedside it features a clear analogue face with glow in the dark hands.



However, they have sent me a totally different (and plain) clock that at the very most has a value of £4.00. I have looked at the small print and it states 'in the unlikely event an item you have ordered is unavailable, we reserve the right to send out an item that is similar and to the same (or higher) value as the item you have ordered'.

They have sent me a piece of tat. And now they expect me to cough up for the return postage costs.

Is there anything I can do? I presume that other people have been ripped off by the company, but cannot be bothered sending any items back and just keep the rubbish they have been sent.
