i did not get financing because i didnt sell my house in illinois and they kept my 6000.00 and said i fail to comply with their terms; the main sales woman left and so did the finance guy. i had to refinance a car to get that 6000.00 and i have never heard of a earnest money being that much

- You could have always told them no. Earnest money is negotiable. I think they were more than patient waiting three years for your home to sell. You failed to meet the terms of your contract, this is EXACTLY what the earnest money is for.

- it wasnt 3 years im just now filing the complaint it was six months while they were building my house thank you

- Then why is the date occurred in your complaint 06/10/2009? Either way you failed to meet the terms of the agreement.
