I received a telephone call today from two different persons this morning saying that they were calling from Publishers Clearing House and that I had won $3.5 million dollars plus $350,000 cash and a 2012 Mercedes Benz Automobile. They wanted me to go to my bank and get $1,200.00 cash to give to their courier upon his arrival at my house to give me a certified check for $3.5 million. I questioned the legitimacy of this call and, after trying to convince me that they were legitimate, I ask some more questions that they were unable to answer and they hung up. One call was from Jamaica and the other from "Private Caller--Unknown Caller". The second caller wanted me to go to a CVS or Rite-Aid Pharmacy near me and "purchase the winning number there" and get $500 to give to the courier when he arrived at my house with $8.5 million dollars cash. Beware of these scam artists; they really try to convince you that they are for "real". I obviously didn't do any of this and called Publishers Clearing House and was told by them that they do not notify winners by telephone, mail or e-mail but show up at your home with the "Prize Patrol" if you are a winner.
