Ordered 3 tickets to a Molly Johnson concert massey hall nov 30 toronto ont. At no time did they identify themselves as a us firm, the venue is in can. Charged me 63.85 in service fees, I rec'd no tickets just a visa card for the amt and directions to pick up tickets at the box office an hour before the concert. What was the service provided, I'd like the service fees refunded since I don't believe it was justified, I have to do all the work and still no tickets to show for it. What a scam!

  • Hello Kathy! Thank you for your feedback. I'm am an employee at TN. I'm very sorry to hear about the confusion in regards to your order.

To start with, we actually do identify ourselves as a US-based firm - our address on the Contact Us page is in the US. We also mention on our checkout page that "all prices are in US dollars."

Added to that, I should explain that we at TN are a marketplace (like EBay) through which independent sellers resell tickets to popular events. We don't directly own, price, or ship tickets ourselves. All that responsibility is in the hands of the sellers who list tickets on our exchange.

On the service fees, we do charge a service fee to purchase tickets through our site. The service fee itself is actually the only part of the transaction that accrues to TN. It pays for such service needs as customer support, website maintenance, and secure customer billing. The fee is advertised twice during the checkout process prior to order completion.

Added to that, I want to emphasize that we have a 125% guarantee that protects ensures the validity of all ticket orders on our site. We can promise this because we only deal with licensed and/or registered ticket-selling companies. Therefore, when you buy through us, you're buying from professionals who sell tickets for a living. They put food on their table by getting you tickets and so they have every incentive to fulfill your purchase.

In your case, it sounds like your ticket seller provided you with a prepaid gift card that you would present to the box office at the venue to access tickets. A few select venues utilize such cards to access tickets (a so-called "paperless" system for getting tickets). All you have to do is go to the venue and pick up the tickets using the card provided.

If you have any further concerns, please email us a [email protected] and we'd be happy to help!
