Same as everyone elses. I located a book that I wanted to download and was redirected to this Media Crawler. Had to purchase the software in order to get the bookk that WAS advertised on their website. Once I spent the money I found that the book was not actually available as they had originally advertised. It was a bait and switch scam. This site literally stole from me and all the others that are making this same complaint.

  • Media Crawler (Media Crooks) replied to my complaint the same as they did in the emails thay sent to me when I first tried to resolve this. They are always going to give the same 'cookie cutter' answer. They say that we as the user agreed to their policies before we purchased their product.... Why yes, yes we did.. only after being falsly led to believe that the product purchase would in turn give us what was advertised. You just can't explain to these people(Media Crooks) that we purchased their product because they advertised as having a certain item that we were looking for and then once the purchase was made, they pulled the 'bait and switch' scam. I believe that they know what they are doing is wrong and they hear our complaints, but that they are just going to keep 'laughing in our faces' until one day (hopefully) the authorities put a boot across their necks!! Whoever reads their reply to my complaint, don't believe it. It was a true 'bait and switch' SCAM. Whish I had seen this complaint site before I purchased from Media Crawler. I will sure spread the word to all of my collegues to not do business with Media Crawler.

  • "They are not going to refund my money" as they say in their emails to me. and here they are wanting me to waste more of my time emailing or calling them again. Their reply is just a front for everyone else to see. They are a bad company and no one should eveer do business with them.

    As you can see it's clearly stated what kind of service we provide and payment policies are also mentioned here. Please note that we require our customer' s to accept the TOS to proceed with the purchase so it's customer's responsibility to read it before approving.

  • This message is to - Leyla Ozsen - and the rest of the Media Crawler Support Team (Media Crooks)... You can keep posting your "cookie cutter" statements about your TOS which is BS. Your Company MEDIA CRAWLER pulled a bait and switch scam on me and that is the long and short of it. I have made this known to all of my associates and FB friends. I work for a Fortune 500 company and all of my coworkers and vendors know of this scam being pulled by MEDIA CRAWLER. Your company 'stole' from me and got caught .. not just by me it seems, but by many others for the exact same reason. What your company MEDIA CRAWLER did was FALSE ADVERTISEMENT and a "BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM". .... And you should, and better, refund my money !!!

  • Well you should visit our web site once more and see that we do not store or sell files. Moreover, there is no advertisment of the files on it. Also at the bottom you will see the Terms and also were to read them when accepted while purchasing the service.

  • To all who have followed this thread. The comments from Media Crawler don't tell you that when you are searching for literature online and find it, that the site direct you to their software ... In essence, making you think you are getting what was shown you on the web page. There in lies the "Bait and Switch Scam". This will be my final post on this matter ... BECAUSE ... The complaint I filed with PayPal came back in my favor and my funds were taken back from the Media Crawler Crooks and refunded to me. Sure, it was only $30, but it's the principle of the matter.... "Goodbye" Media Crawler, and may everyone that reads this thread be very wary of you and your business practices. """CASE CLOSED"""
