BEWARE!!! NATIONS TRAVEL & CRUISES IS A SCAM!!!! BEWARE! BEWARE!! BEWARE!!!
A faxed was received advertising a 4-day 3-night all inclusive resort vacation, including airfare, to several destinations, for $199.98 per person. I contacted the company and spoke with NICOLAS, who assured me that this was a legitimate offer and as long as I submitted my intended travel date(s) at least 30 days in advance, my vacation request would be honored. Because I was reluctant to make the purchase, over the course of several days, I called and spoke to NICOLAS about my concerns, at which time he was always nice and helpful. Upon moving forward to complete the purchase, everything changed. I submitted my travel dates 2 month in advance. As the date approached, I received ONE email, with the dates that I requested. I responded to the email, stating that I was interested in the itinerary that had been emailed to me, but that was as far as it went. I made several attempts to reach someone that could assist me with this vacation. I could no longer make contact with NICOLAS. The man answering the phone did all that he could to prevent me making contact with anyone, by placing me on hold and never returning, transferring me to a phone that would ring on and on without anyone answering, and several times the calls would just be disconnected. During one attempt, NICOLAS did answer the phone, but informed me that he could no longer assist me, referring me to the travel coordinator, whom I later was informed was no longer with the company; that being the reason nobody had contacted me to complete the vacation plans. I inquired as to why I could not just submit my request via a phone since the time involved to send and receive emails could be lengthy and unsuccessful. I was informed that email communication was the only option. I explained to that person that my vacation (at that time) was less than a week away and that I had not heard anything about my vacation. I asked to speak with MICHAEL MANCINI, because I wanted to submit a formal complaint. She told me that he was not in and assured me that she would take my name and number and have him call me. I have yet to hear from him! My family and I took time off work for a vacation that did not happen. I also invited other family members to buy into this SCAM. I sent my activation fee via certified mail and asked that someone call me to inform me that the funds had been received in the needed time limit. KEVIN called me, but made it very clear that he was only calling as a courtesy to my request but that was ALL HE WAS DOING. He told me that was not calling to assist me with my travel plans and that I would have to wait to receive an email from someone regarding my request. Outside of scamming me and several others out of money, they are very rude and unprofessional.
YOU COULD AT LEAST BE KIND TO ME WHILE YOU ROB ME OF MY MONEY!
