I was one of the unfortunates that was looking to see if I could get a pay day loan to cover a small negative balance in my checking account. So I applied through a website. called iGotFunds.com then I got a SLEW of contacts. including Cashnetusa, revtree.come, and many many others. After that I was told I was accepted for a payday loan and gave my information so they could 'deposit' however I didn't accept the loan and cancelled out of any payday loans. After that day I was recv'ing at least 30 calls a day from different numbers, as well as same numbers calling over and over. with one leaving 'THREATENING' messages. I contacted my phone server and had some numbers blocked and called that threatening number back and told them they ever threaten me again I will call them back with a lawyer (as the had told me to do or else I would pay the consequences) only it would be to sue them for harrassment. Those calls stopped. Then the calls started dwindling down and about 4 days after I mistakenly applied for the stupid payday loan the 29.95 was taken out of my account. I saw it a day later and said ohhhh no. Called my bank told them about the scam and they are now going after whomever for fraud and applied the monies back to my account. Which included an nsf fee of 34 dollars. Stay away from ANY online loan companies. Seriously. It's a mess and I hope someone starts up a class action suit against this company. I will be right there with you. This is very stressful and on my day off I'm going to have to go to bank and change my account information and get the info to my work so they can change my direct deposit information. What a serious pain and this is sooo illegal.
