I entered a competition online in June to win an iPad. I then received a phone call tonight to tell me I had won the iPad. I stupidly gave out my address and after reflection I felt concerned. I then checked my mobile phonebill and noted that in June, July and August I had received texts from this company via their number 60699, amounting to £18 per month. They send 3 texts in quick succession on each occasion, and I was never told I would be charged for this service. Neither did I believe that entering this competition would mean they sent me these texts. They asked me to send a text to prove I had received their security code, and obviously they got me mobile number from there. I am concerned that they now have me home address. If an iPad arrives I will be very shocked. They told me that I could check my name on the website, but it didn't exist.
