Got my cell phone bill which was outrageously higher than usual, after looking it over, there were five charges fo $9.95 ($49.95)that I do not know where they came from. I called the cell phone company and was told they couln't do anything about it that I would have to deal with each company about the charges individually. A block was put on my lines and they gave me the phone numbers to each company so I could contact them. I did and had no problem with one of them which ended up being responsible for two of the charges. They told me they would reimburse me the $19.90 and would receive a check in the mail in about two weeks which I still have not received. One of the other companies I could never get ahold of so I left a message; still have not heard from them. Another company rep for CONSUMER MOBILE gave me a hard time (very rude and unprofessional)to the point that I asked to speak to his supervisor. He kept telling me that I had signed up and was responsible for the charges and they did not give reimbursements. He never put a supervisor on the line, kept saying he was busy that his supervisor had told him that if I had a problem to put it in writing and fax it to them, gave me the number. I sent a letter and followed all the steps he told me and never heard from them again. Then My Mobile Care was the last one I contacted. The female rep I spoke to was very rude and wouldn't hear me out; was just as rude as the one from CONSUMER MOBILE. She was adamit about me having signed up and being responsible for the charges. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said one was not available that the place where she was was not the main office, she was housed separately. I asked for the name of a contact person and she said they did not give that out because they were a private company. I told her I needed to lodge a complaint and get reimbursed becauseI had never signed up for any of the charges on my bill and she kept tellng me that I must know and have agreed otherwise the charges would not be on my bill. She gave me an address to send a written complaint to and I have. The letter was returned as undeliverable as addressed. I have gotten nowhere with any of this! I am retired on a fixed income and this scam has put a strain on my finances. There must be something that can be done!!
