Bought one warranty for my rental and one for my residence in March 2012. Air conditioner failed on the rental in late April. They sent a contractor who quoted $1,500 to repair, but due to age also quoted $5,500 to replace with a new unit. I was told that they would pick up $4,000 and I would pay $1,500 due to them not wanting to continue to make repairs on an old unit. To make a long story short, I had to pay the contractor the full amount due to Arkidus not paying ANYTHING. Although I have sent NUMEROUS e-mails and left NUMEROUS voice messages, no one calls back. Now all I get is either a busy tone on the main number or Ray Berges' (the supposed CEO/CFO) voice mail box is full and not accepting any more messages. I did manage to get the cost of the warranty policies refunded through my credit card, so that's one plus in a barrelful of minuses! Beware of Ray Berges, as he promises everything, but fails to follow through on his promises. MAJOR SCAMMER!!!
