I answered an internet ad for Hydroxatone cream, initially cancelling but I was contacted through the phone number I'd given and was persuaded to go ahead with taking sample products, being assured that I could cancel out if I wasn't happy with the product. I didn't realise that after 30 days they would assume you wanted to continue ordering. When I noted from my bank statement that I had been billed for the amounts of $69.69 & 67.38 respectively I rang to complain as I'd sent an email to the company cancelling out. I asked why they billed me such a large amount for such small samples of 30grams each and I was informed that was the price of their product - I told them it was a rip-off and that I was disgusted, & would they please cancel my account. They informed me that more products had been sent already - I found that hard to believe as I've since received two parcels by air - I doubt whether it would take weeks for them to arrive! I made this complaint in late July/early August. As I was rather suspicious I visited my bank and enquired about any other withdrawals from my a/c and found that two further amounts had been withdrawn from my a/c, one amounting to $133.90 by Hydroxatone & the other by Bellaplex, a related company, for amount of $133.90 - and I was really shocked, I am an old-age pensioner with only limited funds. I had not received any samples of Bellaplex until the one which arrived recently, it appears that they threw that one in to get more money out of me! The statement included lists of further Visa withdrawal dates of 27/8/12 & 26/9/12 for $69.95 on each date. It also speaks of 30 day risk free trial ending on 26/8/12 so they are obviously first samples sent by Bellaplex! Most upsetting to be treated like this. I have now transferred my money from this account to another to avoid any more unauthorised withdrawals. I would be
so pleased if you could help me get my money back.

A similar thing happened to me. I gave my Cr Card details to pay $1.90 for samples. Once Bellaplex had my details, they debited my account the following month with $67.17. I wrote to them saying they did not have my approval for this transaction.
I wrote to my bank via internet, who advised me to download a form, fill it in and sign it and post it back. They could not do anything without my physical signature.
My bank said it could take some time to interact between banks.
However, Bellaplex did Cr my account with $67.07 on 28 Aug, 2012.
Again, though, looking at my bank transactions, they tried again to Dr my Account with $67.07 on 4th Oct, 2012, but my bank did not Dr this amount from my balance.
