I and a friend visited Ancira Nissan to purchase a new 2012 Nissan Frontier pickup truck model SV-4. We were quoted a price of $18,000 dollars for the vehicle which we were shown on the lot which was a Silver SV-4. We left the lot after telling the sales rep Mr. Enrique Perales that we wanted that truck and would be in touch as soon as we made arraignments for the purchase within two days. We went home and contacted Geico insurance to secure insurance documents for the truck. We called back approx. 1 hour later that same day to get the VIN number that Geico needed for the truck and were told this vehicle was already sold earlier that day before we ever arrived and that the price quoted was not for the truck we had been shown but for a stripped model S truck that was not even on the lot for sale. We feel we were duped and that Ancira Nissan needs to sell us the vehicle they showed us for the price they quoted to us just one hour earlier which was $18,000 dollars. After a return visit by us at the request of the dealer and two hours of arguing they offered to "split the difference" between the higher cost of the truck we were shown and the price we were quoted. We feel that we were duped and we told them we would complain on line if we had too. I was told they had ways to deal with "cyber bullies" by the internet sales manager. I felt we were being threatened and he was using the size and power of the internal workings of the dealership to silence us. We only want what we were promised that is the end of year(2012) model SV-4 Frontier truck for $18,000.
