I discovered this listing on Craig's List for a 2005 Toyota Sienna XLE LIM in the Pittsburgh, PA area for $4,300 (http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/ctd/3201331287.html). What a steal!! There was no contact information so I emailed the person back requesting more pictures, location and when could we see the van. I received an email back from a Jennifer A Henson [email protected] "My name is Jennifer, and I'm emailing you about the Toyota Sienna I have for sale. The van is in very good shape, no known mechanical issues, without scratches or dents, and it has never been involved in any kind of accidents. The mileage is 116,926, automatic transmission, with an 6 Cylinder, 3.3 L engine, AWD, gold exterior and gray interior. I legally own a clear title, free of any liens or loans, under my name. The price was reduced at $4,300. Because of my divorce settlement, i own this van and as a woman i don`t need it so i`m trying to get rid of it as soon as possible (that`s why i`m selling it so cheap).

So we looked at the photos and it was everything we could possibly dream about. So we contacted her again telling her we were very interested and wanted to take a look at it and take it for a test drive. Then I also asked for the VIN so I could check out my insurance rates and a phone number that we could contact her. She replied, "This is the VIN: 5TDZA22C95S272266. As I told you in my first email, I recently got divorced. I got a new job and moved to Topeka KS for a new start. The van is already at the shipping company in Topeka sealed and ready for the shipping. My presence won't be necessary because I prearranged the deal with Amazon. The deal includes free delivery and it will arrive at your address in 3 days. You will have 5 days to try out prior to making any purchase and if by any reason you find something you don't like about it you can send it back at my expense.
If you are interested in knowing more info about how it works, I can ask Amazon to send you an email with more information on how to purchase it. Amazon will contact you shortly after they have the details with all the information that you need to complete this deal and you will also have proof that I am covered by them and a legitimate seller. She gave us the VIN but no phone number. After doing some research on her name, we came acrossed scambook.com and discovered that she has been doing this all over the place with different kinds of vehicles and changing her email address slightly. After researching the VIN, we found out it did not belong to the van she was trying to sell.

SO BUYER BEWARE!!!! THIS IS A SCAM!!!!

We were lucky to catch this before we were out of a lot of money.
