I made the mistake of donating my boat to a "charitable" organization that promised, in turn, to dispose of the boat and distribute the proceeds to another, legitimate charity. Though they also promised to pay the slip fees during the process, they didn't. Only after I was contacted by the harbor master and complained vociferously did they. When the charity I designated finally received the payment it was in the laughable amount of $205.50. Avoid these scammers, who also operate under the name Works of Life International Ministries, Inc." at all costs.
