Richard Ross (I am sure this is not his name)from the collections department called demanding I provide a credit card payment for advertising that was never ordered or authorized. He kept stating this was a verbal agreement authorized by my employee (a college intern that works in my office). I stated that the intern was not authorized to make any purchase and did not authorize any purchase. He played a audio of the intern's voice with a series of yes and no answers, which was obviously sliced, diced, etc. I told him to put me on their do not solicit list and I was then advised the interest on the balance would be accelerated with this do not call request. I was also advised that I would be receiving a subpoena and would have to pay the expense of traveling to New York for the court appearance. He offered to reduce the balance if I gave him a credit card today. He also threatened to ruin my credit. I told him his scam is all over the internet and did file a complaint with the FTC and will with my AG office as well.BEWARE!!!!
