Do not work for this Toronto-based media monitoring company. It doesn't pay its employees. In general, it recruits on the University of Toronto's job boards, or Craigslist. Despite the size of the contract, a consultant will receive a third of what's owed to them for their first pay, then nothing subsequently.

For starters, I don't know who the person who posted the complaint is. The anonymous 'Soccer Girl' does not ring a bell as one of our consultants.
However the content of the complaint resembles that of rants from one Stéphane St-Onge, a former consultant with us, who filed an inflated invoice which ignored our established fee schedule for his services, and eventually accepted an adjusted payment for the real value, based on what we pay everyone else. His statement that we do not pay our consultants is absolutely false and malicious. Connecting his payment with the total value of our contracts is a misguided unprofessional delusion, which has nothing to do with his provision of services to our company. Consultants are paid for work performed satisfactorily, not on company earnings, as anyone with any business understanding knows. Mr St-Onge was dismissed from MIREMS based on unsatisfactory performance, which is documented in email exchanges that show his admission of incompetence and dereliction of duty in delivering his work on time, based on poor excuses.
There is another garbled complaint made by one Evelyn Christy, against a 'MIREMS' She claims to have worked for us, but never has. Notwithstanding, this complaint may also may be connected to Mr. St-Onge, since it comes from Montreal, where he lives. It is clear to me he is carrying out an underhand hate campaign against our company, to cover up his verified incompetence on the job. You may wonder why he does not sign his own complaints - a sure sign that there are no real grounds for them except resentment. We have been providing services to our clients for 24 years. I doubt very much we would have survived for so long if our reputation was not solid and our treatment of our team of more than 30 consultants responsible, since that team is our main asset. This is also the first time we have seen this type of complaint, which makes it so easy trace to a single source. Andrew Machalski, President, MIREMS Ltd. -
