We bought a carpet in Kusadahi Turkey in 2011. Last night we received a phone call from the above number. He said he sold us a carpet in Turkey and was here because a customer has recently bought 6 carpets in Turkey and this customer had died. He was in Canada to find out what had happened as the carpets were sitting in a warehouse. Because he could not bring the carpets back to Turkey, he was selling them at a good price. He wanted to come to our house today and show us the carpets. I was suspicious and contacted the carpet company in Turkey. Barok has no representatives in Canada at this time, and said it was a fraud. Barok asked me to contact the police as this person has gotten our records from customs or from the delivery company. I don't want this person to defraud others who do not check out the information. The exporter for Barok is Dayton Global Inc. in the U.S. The contact name is Nuri Acikcan. The phone number is 609-712-6531.

- I bought a rug in Turkey also. Nuri is the shipping agent for the manufacturer that we bought from. He contacted me today to ship my rug to me. I dont think he's a scammer, but I don't know your situation with him. He's a legitimate freight forwarder though.
