I am a new DirecTV customer and so far have had nothing but problems. I am in tears and do not know what to do.

I lost my job after returning from maternity leave so I switched to DirecTV in June to save some money on our monthly bills. I wanted a bundle package so that TV and internet would be on one bill through one company and DirecTV does not do that. So I kept my internet with Comcast and just switched our TV. Then, shortly after I lost about 20 of my favorite channels do to the Viacom issue. Now my landlord has lost his condo and I am being forced to move out. I wasn't the least bit worried about moving our service to our new place since your commercials advertise a $500 savings while moving.

However, when I called to schedule my move, I was beyond blown away. I was told that I would be charged OVER two HUNDRED dollars to schedule my move. First of all, I think we all know how expensive moving is with out having to pay stupid fees such as the ones I am being told I have to pay to continue enjoying your satellite TV. Second of all, my family and I live off one income and live paycheck to paycheck often having to borrow money just to make it by. I am also in school and have those costs as well.

In short, just this past year, I had a baby, lost my job, lost my home and now I must move. As if life wasn't hard enough, now I am being forced to pay HUNDREDS of dollars just for someone to move my service. They told me that I could "suspend" my service for 30 to 180 days to allow me time to "save" money to pay to them to "re-activate" my service. I'm sorry, but having two kids, going to school, living paycheck to paycheck, and being forced to move, doesn't leave us any extra money even to take our kids out. Giving my "extra" money to you fools is the last thing I will do!!!!!
