I received a message on my answering machine from Dan Copeland with County Check Services concerning a so called fraudulent check issued to a financial organization by my son.

I googled County Check Services and found that this was a scam that is perpetrated on victims who have received loans through check advance organizations in the past. County Check Services claims these check advance loans have not been repaid and that legal action will be taken if the matter is not resolved through you contacting them. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY MONEY. If you contact them they must provide validated loan documents via the mail. They will not be able to provide these documents because they are a scam. They cannot legally contact you again without providing you with these documents. Remember that loan debt is not a criminal offense. This scam is very effective because they make it sound like criminal action for check fraud will occur.
