I met this Greg Henry on Match.com in January 2011.
He said he was in Egypt finishing a contract as Engineer.
He said he was coming back to USA in one week.
He sent me pictures of Jose Mourinho (I did not
know at the time who Jose Mourinho was so I believed it was his pictures.
We wrote emails and chatted every day for a year and a half.
He said he had lost his ID's and could not come back home to the USA. He said he was from China Grove, NC.
He first asked for money for Fare. He said he
had a son and would need $10,000.
that is the first amount I loaned him. He sent me his itinerary and dates when he would travel.He then moved to Ikeja, Nigeria because he said it would be less money to fly from there.
Never came.
Then said his son got sick with a brain tumor and malaria so they could not fly he was hospitalized.
Then he needed money to pay the doctors, and the hotel and food. etc.etc...
Then he said he wanted to fly his son to the USA for treatments. Gave me the list of doctors coming with them...
Still more money needed still did not come here...
Anyway it went for a whole year and I was always hoping he would come and reimburse me all he owed me. Sent a total of $300K. I am ashamed of it.
He said he had a lot of money here but could not access it because he lost his ID's. He would reimburse me as soon as he arrived here.
HE said he was German and English descent.
Turns out he is African. A couple of months ago he saw me on chat and said I would like to show you my face on my webcam. So I saw him for the first time. he was African tall slim and very dark. He said his name was Saheed Amodu and he lived in Accra, Ghana. He had just finished building a house near the ocean.
He never sent me back my money. He owes me $300k.
