I receive a letter from consumer promotion sweepstakes drawing that I was a winner and that this sweepstake was promoted for customers of wal-mart, sears, ASDA, walgreen, staples and safeway, the selection was done by entry slip serial number and that my number was drawing the price amount was for 75,000 which will be deliver by fedex or ups. enclosed was a check for 2,850.74 but part of the check was for a tax clearence fee $1,920.00. I suggest that anyone that as receive this letter report this information to the attorney general in your state, this is a scam.
