On Friday I got a call saying that all my PCs that used Windows were infected by a virus. I was told that this information was obtained by their technical department and that this condition had existed in my computers for the last 14 days based on the tech dept msgs. The person on the phone said that I should turn on my PC and he would show me how to fix the problem. Knowing that he could not "show" me without hooking into my computer, I told him that I would not turn on my PC nor allow him access to my laptop; he said he was not going to hack my computer. He was SO persistent. I told him to send me an email and hung up. He kept calling saying the same thing. I told him not to call me back and finally hung up on him.
