This guy "Doug Alexander" called and said I was approved for a $7000.00 loan but they needed some sort of collateral. Option 1) car title of a car year 2005 or newer OR Option 2) Send 7 payments that would go toward the principal. He emailed to contract and it seemed legit, he even told me to take it to a lawyer when I questioned whether they were for real. I ended up falling for it and sending the $1068 to a guy named Oscar Castano Lopez in Barcelona Spain. This was on a friday, they called back Monday and said after reviewing my credit they would need another 7 payments to secure the loan. That's when I knew that my gut was right and I had been ripped off. He said I could send another $1068 or wait for a month to get my refund. I told them how hurt and upset I was and hung up. I know I will never see that money again and it makes me sick.
