I was called by a salesman who said he was fron calif. He had been trying to get me to buy into a merchant processing business for a couple of months I kept telling him no. Finally he said he had a special price and instead of $495 it was now $295 with a $19.95 a month hosting fee. He kept telling me there was no marketing and I would really like this business it was a lot better than the other I had. I finally said yes. He sent me to the verifying dept and I told them my credit card #. I was put on hold forever, she finally came back and said it was denied by my bank I couldn't understand why, but she asked for another card I gave her another card.On Sun when I went to my email I saw 2 messages from paypal which I couldn't understand considering I didn't use paypal. when I read the first it said I had charge $295 on my credit card which I was told had been denied the other message said I had charged $250 to the same company I called paypal to see what was going on I even found out she had tried to charge $700 on the first card and they denied it and then they tried charging 500 too that is when she came back and told me the 1st card had denied my charge and she needed another card. You would have thought she would have thought she would charged the exact amount, at least she could have explained it as a mistake. she never could explain it. I got into a fight with the manager and he tried to tell me it was a deposit and I asked a deposit to what . He said to a$795 website. I told him that was strange because I was never quoted that price. I also asked why I never received a receipt for that deposit, he tried to say they didn't need to give me one. I told him that was a bunch of bull. He then said He would refund the 250 but not the 295 and I also would not get the website. I told him he could do what he wanted I would dispute and probably win he became very mad and began yelling he was going to take me to court and sue me for liability for $5000 I told him I wish you would because if a judge would see all you did you probably would be put in jail. I am still in disput but paypal keeps assuring me it will be settled in my favor in the next few days. If they don't I guess I will go to my bank. I just feel sorry for any one who comes up against them and I wish there was a way to stop them They have a lot of names that they go by when they call another one is my afilliate providerI don't know what got into them but they did refund the $250 and a several days ago they called and told me they had won the dispute. I told her she was crazy because the day before I signed an affidavite for paypal for fraud and they told me they were still working on it, I also told her I would never work with her because I could never trust her again.
