I (foolishly) thought I was ordering a couple of last year's shoes from anne-shoes.com. I had a bad feeling when the shipping options didn't sound legit but I was a sucker anyway. When I didn't receive the shoes I emailed [email protected] and heard nothing. Once I submitted a complaint through PayPal, I received a 20 cent shower cap from China. Because they sent something I had to change the claim to receiving the wrong thing, which takes advantage of a PayPal loophole. PayPal requires you to sent the item back with tracking and because it has to go to China, it would cost $34 to send back. So much for PayPal's "security". This really should be a complaint about PayPal's lack of protections as well as the shady site.

- I recommend you call PayPal again. I filed a complaint and received a resolution email as they claimed the seelr provided proof of shipping. Having received the shower cap I assumed that's what they had shipped to show "something" had been shipped. So tonight I went on the PayPal website and got a phone number witn a code and I simply mentioned I believed I had received a shower cap and the PayPal rep immediately said they woul refund my account!
