I have bought Ford Fiesta 2012 earlier this year (11/02/2012) and suddenly yesterday it stopped working just in the middle of the street, it was truly a bad situation and an extremely bad experience for me.
I had to just move it by pushing it to the parking.
Please note that though that Ford in my country is of low sale value (BTW I am living in Egypt) & though it is not cheap (130 K Egyptian pound) I have purchased it as I was convicted of its high safety and durability (as u may already know the situation we have been living in @ Egypt and the lack of security across the streets) and its good looking shape which I don't see any of these now in it anymore.
Anyway, I took the car and ship it to ford retainer at 12:00 PM Cairo local time and they were truly bad as they were just justifying the situation with bad justifications telling me that it is normal to have such cases and that is the use of the warranty period. They didn’t even apologize for such situation and kept defending themselves on no bases and saying that they will fix it!
As I mentioned above that the retainer just said that it is a normal thing to have though that the car in a new (BTW the mileage of the car is 472KM which is nothing) and when one of the guys there checked it said that it is mostly the Catena but they have to wait for the full checkout to write the report, honestly I can’t imagine that such a big brand as Ford can have such a technical issue with a new car that hasn't move except for 472 KM ( less than a thousand Kilometers).
I am not sure but I am not satisfied at all with the service, as I bought a new car trusting the ford brand and now after just moving the car for 472KM it suddenly stopped though I am not driving it every day. Besides the reaction of the retainer and the dealer was honestly not acceptable at all for a big brand as Ford. I am used to tell my friends and my relatives that it is a great brand and they should go for it but now I am not sure that I can say that with the situation I am facing now!

Just for your reference, a friend of mine bought a VW 2010 a couple of years ago and it has been working with her since then perfectly, she was convincing me to buy a VW Polo but I defended Ford Fiesta and I truly regret that and regretted that I didn’t follow her advice!!
I am not sure that sharing such case with you will make things better, but I just wanted to share it with you anyway & I am truly hoping that it will help by any mean!
