I have only had basic TV and internet. I have always paid my bills. One day about April of this year I signed on to pay my bill and it showed almost $600! I then called .... over a series of ten hours of hold time and being placed back to another rep - I was told I had
"triple play" (phone, internet and TV) for some time and had to pay the amount owed.
I had to go through the BBB and then a rep from comcast called me saying they would credit me the over payments and that I would get a preferred TV package for a year for about $100 month.
They never credited my account and I have paid every month the amount due. I was told that if I do not pay this extra money they would cut all services. They did this.
I had a stroke a few years back and am 60 - I do not need this stress. They need to fix my account. I have written to the FCC, The FL attorney general, The BBB (again) and any place else I can.
I do believe that comcast marketing reps are scamming existing customers by adding (on paper only) extra services and then extorting extra money from seniors (here in FL) or they cut your services. I hope our legal system can stop them.
