I was contacted by Boat Parts and Spares via email about becoming a Representative. Needless to say, I was duped. I have been out of work since November, 2011 and am desperate to find a source of income. Anyway, I contacted Annette Greene and was sent a contract to sign. I sent several emails back asking various questions and the responses I received seemed legitimate. But I also came right out and stated I felt this was a scam. Her reply was, and I quote "We would never put you or ourselves into an illegal position. We have our lawyers working constantly on monitoring the U.S. laws that affect our business. The I.R.S. is well aware of our transfers in and out of U.S. We are paying all our taxes for all the checks we receive from our customers. We would not risk our company's name for anything. We did today over 40+ transactions via Western Union."

Anyway, I signed the contract and a few days latter received two checks which I was to cash, take 10% commission plus $100 bonus and forward the remaining funds via Western Union, which I did.

Now I receive a notice from my bank that the two checks have been returned and I can't get Annette Greene to contact me back.

God I wish I had seen this link before. Now I'm out over $3800.00 and can't pay my mortgage, car payment, etc.

Is there any recourse, or am I just one of the thousands that are so desperate we are stupid?
