Brenda Tannehill aka Brenda S Butler aka Mel Burnis .. Brenda Tannehill posted and collected Vendor fee's for the '2nd Annual Summer Trinkets & Treasures Creative Vendor Fair, to be held Sat, July 21st 10a-4p @ Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Mokena, Il... I've been attempting to reach her via email & phone for THREE WEEKS.. regarding info packets her contract stated would be sent out weeks prior to the above event. The website that was suppose to advertise the event for months: http://?vendorevents.weebly.com/- was never created or saw the light of day; the advertising flyers promised to vendors never materialized... After making contact with the event location, they began calling Brenda Tannehill & leaving messages on my behalf because I did express my suspicions. Fast forward to Friday afternoon, less than 24hrs before said event. An email is sent out to vendors with a sob story stating the event was cancelled. It has since been discovered Brenda Tannehill has a long history of scamming many with various direct sales businesses, cake businesses, and charity events that she pretends to organize and collect for then pockets the proceeds. She has scammed many small business vendors out of thousands of dollars over the last few years and continues to do so with this recent scheme.
