Wells Fargo sent this debt amount to I.C. Systems Inc., alleging that I owe the above debt for an Alaska Airline ticket when I have receipt for $1100.00 which I was paid in balance when my account was closed on April 24, 2012.
I question this debt for the above reason, as well as the fact that Wells Fargo supposedly attempted to contact me with no response, prior to the collections referral. I received no such communication from Wells Fargo who could have contacted me by telephone or E-mail in regard to this matter, which only adds to my suspicion as to the validity of this debt.
Thirdly, in speaking to the representative at I.C.Systems, Inc., he informed me that if I didn't make arrangements, right now, then I would be forced to make payment, in full.
I consider this a threat, and feel that consumers should be allowed to verify factors involved in an alleged debt, without being railroaded into making payments for something which may not be true, particularly when the account has been closed with the bank providing the remaining balance in the form of a cashier's check.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Gary R. Grant
