During the evening of March 29th,2012, I signed up for services from Northwest Rentpad, LLC (AKA RentPad NW). I signed up for Northwest Rentpad, LLC to obtain help in acquiring a rental house to live in. Before I signed the contract agreement, I asked the Northwest Rentpad, LLC representative, "Savannah" if their business was legitimate, and that they would, in fact, help me obtain a rental house, and if they did not, refund the money . Northwest Rentpad, LLC representative Savannah agreed to the contract stating I was in good hands. The Manager was also present during the initial intake process. The manager's name was Chad. Chad also reassured to me along with Savanah, that I was indeed in good hands, and I had nothing to worry about. I asked Savannah three times before signing the contract if they would give me their word not to rip me off. Savannah re-assured me all three times that they would honor the contract and that if there was any issues; she would pay to me, out of her personal money, any and all refunds that I might inquire. I called my girlfriend, Brenda Lahti right before I signed the contract, and paid RentPad LLC the $350.00 for services. I went over, and read the contract agreement with Brenda, and let Brenda hear from Savanah the promise of 100% satisfaction with the experience we were going to receive from North West RentPad LLC, and their staff. Brenda didn't think it was a good idea, and that it was a lot of money that we couldn't afford. After hearing Savanah state that we would be refunded $300.00 out of the $350.00, if we didn't move into a rental house located by North West RentPad LLC Within 60 days. Brenda and I was satisfied, I payed $350.00 for the services after being reassured, and given their word of proffesional, and legitamte bussiness negotiations. I signed the contract.
I was told that another representative from North West RentPad LLC. Would contact me the following day, to go over the available houses that I might be interested in. I was also told that I would receive an e-mail confirming my status as a new North West RentPad LLC. Customer. Within the next week I did not receive a phone call, nor an e-mail from the representative Savanah had mentioned. I did however receive a phone call from Savanah asking if I had received a phone call and e-mail from the representative she had mentioned.
On March 31st I found a rental house on my own, without the help of Northwest Rentpad, LLC. The rental house was exactly what I was looking for, a house in Seattle near my place of employment. I paid the move in fee, and signed the lease agreement for the rental on Tuesday April 3rd 2012.
On April 4th 2012, I brought in the signed lease agreement document to Northwest Rentpad, LLC. I explained that I had found this rental on my own, without any help from Northwest Rentpad, LLC. Savannah made a copy of the lease agreement and filed it. Savannah then asked me if I wanted the $300.00 refund out of the $350.00 payment for services as agreed in the contract. I said yes, I want the $300.00 refund as promised.
Northwest Rentpad, LLC Contract for services that I signed and paid for states, "If, within sixty (60) days, customer has not located a suitable rental property from the referrals and leads provided to customer, despite obtaining weekly updates at least twice a week, NORTHWEST RENTPAD, LLC will refund$300.00 of your fee (4th paragraph, 2nd sentence)".
Savanah told me that I would receive my refund no later than the following Friday on April 6th, 2012. Savanah told me to come into Northwest Rentpad, LLC located in Seattle on 65th street, after I got off of work and pick up my $300.00 refund that would be waiting for me, Savanah again reassured me there was nothing to worry about.
On Friday April 6th, 2012 after work, I returned to Northwest Rentpad to receive my $300.00 refund as promised. I was put in a back room and was asked to sit and wait. I felt like I was being treated rudely, and I felt as if something was wrong. Savanah, and the Northwest Rentpad, LLC front desk secretary, we're acting strangely, stand offish if you will, acting if they weren't telling me something, or holding back something. After over an hour in a half sitting in a back room by myself, I returned to the front desk and asked what the delay was. I was told to sit and have patience. After 3 hours of waiting, I asked the representative who signs the checks for the refunds at Northwest Rentpad why I am waiting here instead of receiving my refund as promised. The representative asked me why I thought I deserved a refund, I explained the circumstances. The representative laughed at me, treated me very rudely, and told me that nobody gets a refund that quickly. The representative went on to tell me that I needed to go home and they would decide if I deserved a refund or not.
As of to date June 9, 2012, I have not received my $300.00 refund. I never received any services from Northwest Rentpad, LLC. Except for the one listing of houses I was given that day I regretfully paid them $350.00. I have been treated very rudely ever since I told them I found my own place. I was even told that Savanah no longer worked there at Northwest Rentpad, LLC located on 65th street in Seattle. I was told this after about the 4th day of calling asking for my refund. I called Northwest Rentpad, LLC every day for over a week, with the same results, treated rudely, lied too, told that nobody was available to help me, or talk to me. I say lied too, because I was driving by Northwest Rentpad, LLC on 65th in Seattle one day while working, and seen Savanah talking to another person there at the office. I was also told that the manager would call me back A.S.A.P. I not once, received any phone call, from anyone who works at Northwest Rentpad, LLC at any time thereafter I found my own place to live. The one thing that really makes me feel embarrassed and ashamed, is when the RentPad representative who signs the checks there at Northwest Rentpad, LLC, laughed at me when I asked for my refund that Friday they put me in the back room and left me there. The lady laughed at me like I was a fool. She acted as if I was in the wrong, and had no business being there, let alone asking for my refund.
I hope that something is done about Northwest Rentpad, LLC. I feel like Northwest Rentpad, LLC is entirely a scam, and that they target people who are desperately in need of help finding a place to live. After asking around, I have been told by over a dozen people, their experiences with Northwest Rentpad, LLC. The results were almost the same, either they didn't get their money back, or they didn't get what they paid for. Almost everyone I talked to that had acquired the services from Northwest Rentpad, LLC, never found a place to live with help from them. I hope this stop's, and nobody has to feel betrayed and humiliated as I have been as a result of trusting Northwest Rentpad, LLC.
The foregoing is accurate and true to the best of my ability, and knowledge, of the experience I had received from the services at Northwest Rentpad, LLC - AKA - RentPad NW.

Sincerely:
wilsojohnwilson
