My account with bank of america was closed on 08/01/2012. I was told by there customer service department that I can go to the local branch and collect the funds remaining in my closed account on 08/01/2012. Accordingly I went to the bank on 08/01/2012. In the bank, I was told by there representative that they do not have the funds and a cashier's check has been mailed to me on 08/01/2012 and it should take 2 to 3 business days to reach me. On 08/01/2012 I called up there customer service department after coming out of the bank and they told me the check has been mailed and it will 10 to 15 business days to reach me. I called up there customer service department on 08/02/2012 and I got a reply that check has not been mailed on 08/01/2012 but it was mailed on 08/02/2012 and it will take 10 to 15 business days. when I asked them the reason for discrepancy in the information the customer service representative just hung up on me. Now I am not sure if I will get the money or not and also since I am not there customer anymore they have been rude in the treatment.
