As a representative of People to People Ambassador Programs, I would like to respond to your question. More than half of our delegates are directly nominated to our program by teachers, educators, parents of past participants, and program alumni. Others are referred through our website or invited to apply through listing organizations like those used by colleges and universities to recruit their students. I hope that helps clarify your question.

- More than half, eh, Scott? Really? Does this include people's cats and dogs -- and deceased children??? There are many other legitimate educational travel programs for students that cost far less, and who don't need to use the "nomination" marketing ploy... for example - Explorica: http://www.explorica.com/
