Health Solutions, Homeland and Markel Health Insurance

My husband and I were shopping around for a health insurance policy for me and we got a call from Health Solutions, in which their phone # is 1-561-287-9300, the first man he talked to at that # was Zack ext. 102, then he was transfered to his supervisor, Ryan ext.101 to finalize the sale on 7/31/2011. Ryan told my husband that we would be receiving a package in the mail from Markel Insurance Company. Health Solutions then told us that they would automatically withdraw $248.00 and a one time processing fee of $99.00. We then got the package and the insurance cards and we were told that all of my medications that they asked for would be covered, generic would be $10.00 and name brand would be $24.00, which reflects to page 10 of their booklet. We were given so many names that were affilitated with their company, one which was AWA, Affiliated Workers Association Benefits and on my card it said benecard for prescription and Compass was for the precriptions. It was to be effective on 08/15/2011, so it was time for me to get a couple of my precriptions filled, in which I use Walgreens, in which we were told was in their program and that's where the scamming began. I asked to get my Colitis medicine, which is generic now and the pharmacy told me that under that insurance plan it would be a little over $400.00. We have called Homeland and cancelled the insurance and talked with Cliff Herring and told him that we wanted a refund of all of our money, in which that was also a stipulation in their policy, if you are not satisfied with the insurance, that you could call within 30 days and cancel and you would receive all of the money that you had payed.
