Lease turn-in filed additional complaint with FTC. Dealer took possession of vehicle 7/9 at one dealership, transported vehicle to another and performed inspection 7/13. TFS sends bill, received certified on 8/1 in the amount of 511.36 for missing spare key and windshield replacement due to chip. Argued spare key returned to dealer on 7/10 - fee waived ($250.00). Argued windshield not chipped when returned to dealer and chip occurred while in dealer possession and/or during transport to final destination where it was discovered 4 days later. Rep. would hear none of it and refused fee waiver ($220.00). Presently on the hook for $220.00 for a windshield that was damaged after I no longer had possession of vehicle. Will fight to the end. Not finished with this. Finance company figures I'll just write a check. They couldn't be more wrong.
