I signed up for santacruzrentals.org with my pre payed credit card with a $20.00 donation with access to the site for 90 days, without a recurring payment, they advertise that they have a list of rental properties that are pet friendly, I contacted the site through my search on the Santa Cruz CA homes/apts for rent on Craigslist. When I viewed the site, this was not at all the case all postings were outdated and not pet friendly, also all the postings had just been pulled from the Craigslist rental ads. I then posted an add warning my community that the site was a scam, I received E-mails from others that had been scammed. I contacted the company and demanded my payment be refunded. I then received a response saying that my subscription had been canceled and my card would be refunded but it may take 2-4 weeks. I have a hard time in believing the statement, considering it was coming from the fraudulent company.
