I bought 2 pairs of Roxy Sandals for $17.55 each. I paid through Pay Pal and waited the 48 hrs for the ship confirmation. By day 3 I realized something was fishy and I looked at the site. I noticed it didn't have a seal for the BBB or any of the typical seals of online trustworthiness. Also, it just said "Pending Payment" on my order status. Great. So long story short, I opened 2 disputes through Pay Pal for investigation. One dispute came back saying it was closed because the seller provided shipping information. The next day I received a tiny little 3" x 5" package from the Chinese name on the Pay Pal account for Anne Shoes, and what was in it? A SHOWER CAP! A thin little plastic shower cap rolled up the in the size of a quarter like you get in hotel rooms. I called Pay Pal IMMEDIATELY and I was refunded for one pair of shoes, $17.55. Then last week I got an email from Pay Pal that said I needed to contact the Police to further my claim. It said to file a police report and send a copy to Pay Pal. I thought, are you kidding me? So I wasn't sure what I was going to do until today when Pay Pal sent an email saying they are closing this second claim because the seller again sent them proof of shipment!! UNBELIEVABLE! So, I expect a shower cap any day now, and then I will be calling Pay Pal! I went to the Anne-Shoes site, and they disabled my log in. I AM SO FREAKING PISSED ABOUT THIS!
