On July 21,2012 my husband and I saw an add on Kijiji Ottawa for a 2008 25'Jayco JayFeather 25F Rear Kitchen Layout for 2900.00$. We immediately sent a email to find out why it was so cheap and Emily Butler ([email protected]) replied that she had gotten this trailer in her divorce and that she did not need it. She sent us the link for buytradesell trading posting for us to register in order to buy the trailer.
After we registered we got an email from Andrew Neilsen saying he was the supervisor for this transaction and gave us the instructions to send the money. He also told us that we needed to send the money into 2 transactions because it would take less time to verify the transfer. We had to send the money to: Comyn Rubino at 35 Firs Avenue London, United Kingdom N11 3NE, and the second name was Santino Loftus at the same address. I was also given 3 fax # to send my confirmation that I had sent the $, 1(678)928-0200, 1 (678)696-4840 and 1(678)696-4845. So I used he first number to send the confirmation.
I check out all the information online and could not find anything wrong with the site, so went ahead and did the Western Union and waited for then to contact us to let us know that they had received the payment.
Like good professionals they did let us know
that they had received the money and they would start the shipping process since the trailer was in Whitehore YK. He told us we would be getting a phone call the day before.
Needless to say that when we saw the exact same trailer for sale today but in a different location we knew we had been scammed. It was posted on Kijiji Barrie, same piture and same price. I contacted the police and they basically told us to be careful and to not do it again. Western Union also told us that and now we are more than upset because no one can help us get these people...
We will never use Kijiji or any other form of second hand site. We would rather pay full price and get our monies worth.

- Emily Butler's add on Kijiji for a 2008 jayco camper is a scam and its been on Kijiji Nova Scotia and i was also trying to buy it to but after checking into it more found out all it was is a scam watch out people

- This is part of the email i got from Emily Butler:I left the trailer in their possession last week and the fact that I'm not home will not affect the selling procedure through this service. So the process goes like this: if you agree with the trailer description and price, you must register on their website and they will send you an invoice with the payment instructions and the transaction details. You send the payment to them and as soon as the payment is confirmed they will start the shipping process, which usually takes between 3 and 5 working days. As soon as you will receive the trailer, a 10 Day money Back Guarantee starts (which is a standard guarantee for all items listed on Kijiji) and you can inspect it and see if it's everything you expected. This guarantee allows you to return the trailer if by any chance something is wrong with it, my description was not accurate or I failed to specify something about it's condition.
