Received message from #24992 as follows: Quote - "Horoscopes 3msgs/wk subscription renewal YourHoroscopePath.com Reply HELP for help 8002357105 $9.99/mo Msg&data rates may apply Reply STOP to cancel 5:22am 7/27/12" I sent "Stop" back and received a message "UR now unsubscribed from Your Horoscope Path..." I never did subscribe to this service.
This sort of scam is never ending. The victims are normally using T Mobile prepaid phone cards, that do not get any after sales service from T Mobile, no invoices, no proof of charges, no call history, absolutely nothing. My phone has been deducted so called "monthly service charges" at least 3 times before, from different websites.
I believe that the prepaid phone card information is being sold to different scam artists so that these type of illegal activities can be conducted. Billions of dollars are lost from unprotected consumers.
Phone companies should STOP selling these "prepaid phone cards" until consumer rights are being protected.
Photos of the messages received will be provided as support.
I HOPE SOMEONE OUT THERE WILL TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY AND ACT ON THIS TYPE OF SCAM IMMEDIATELY.
