BC Marketing or also known as Breakthrough Concepts Marketing in Marietta, GA claim that they are a marketing firm and that they can only do certain things and have no other competition in the Atlanta area ?!?! FALSE!! Atlanta is a HUGE city. DO NOT BE DECEIVED. They call this "Direct Marketing" which they go door to door selling "coupons" or should we call them "deals" for professional sports teams suchs as:Carolina Hurricanes, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Motor Speed way - all of this is not true. Yes they do sell these items, however - they make a percentage of what they sell. I would compare this closely to 'Amway, Quickstar or now they call themselves LTD (Leadership Team Development) where it has the effect of the Diamond Theory. They are promoting these job positions as "marketing" but in reality, this kind of job does not require a college degree and anyone can go door to door selling items. They claim this is not "soliciting" but in fact, it really IS. I was in awe that a company would call this advertising - when in fact, straight up is not. Do not be fooled. They hire people, train them in 10 months (for a program that needs to be learned over the course of 3 years) and then they move them out so they can start their own satellite company. They move them in and out of their "marketing office" like sardines. Do not work for this company. There is no base pay and you are outside doing SALES not MARKETING. Wake up and smell the coffee. Make sure you research these kinds of companies very well. Found all of this out on the job site.
