I received a call on 7/76/2012 from Sunset Publications asking if I had received the Women's Package of Magazines that I had signed up for. I told them no because i currently wasn't at school. I told them that I don't remember even signing up for their magazines. They told me that I had been signed up for 2 months and the reason they were calling was because I was eligible for a payment reduction. I told them I hadn't even received the magazines yet and that I would just wait to see if I liked the magazine before I paid for it. Then this woman named Melissa claiming to be the supervisor got on the phone saying that the reduction only applied to this call and if I called back trying it get the reduction that I wouldn't be available. I told them that I wanted to cancel it. She said it wasn't her department to cancel subscriptions and that it was also past the 13 days to cancel. I told her that I wanted speak with customer service. She said that I had to verify my information they already had first. I told them yes. Then she starts speaking all fast about some recording confirmation and when I asked to speak with customer service again, she said yes she would batch me right through but instead she just hung up. When I tried to call them back the number was disconnected. So then I went to go look at my account and I saw that they had charged my 119.90 when she said I wouldn't be charged more the 55 something and that the payment wouldn't go through til August Fifth. From there I called my bank and handled it with them. Am still waiting to see if Ill get my money back. But I plan to stay on top of their asses because somehow they are getting peoples information and trying to ruin peoples credit with this fake magazine subscription. So be aware of the name SUNSET PUBLICATIONS! DONT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION! NOT EVEN YOUR DAMN GENDER!
