In April 2012 my son and i attended what we thought was going to be a video shoot requiring extras. When we arrived, we were asked to wait in line as the facilitator wanted to meet individually with each potential participant. she interviewed my son in my presence and explained her business in promotions to assign up and comping potential actors/models to various commercials, extra scenes in flms and tv. She "liked the look of my son" and assured us that he would be receiving calls within the immediate future. She sent us to a a photo studio to have head shots taken for his portfolio. The company has never initiated contact with my son and I and has been quite dismissive and abrupt when I have emailed them to inquire about potential jobs. The company suggested that I sign up with another promotions company to ensure he receives calls. I have made them aware of my concerns and have not heard back from them. i am a single parent who wants to foster my son's hopes of getting into the film industry, however it seems that i have been a victim of fraud. Please advise..
