If I could, I would go to the news media, and 7 on your side and tell my story. But maybe here, people will read this and take notice.
Very simple, and yes very simple.
My husband and I were discriminated against in FairfAX cOUNTY court, because we had no attorney. The other party was allowed to evict us. (through lies). The landlord, held the rent increase back 6 months after she had told us, there was no rent increase, and then wanted everything at once. Even her attorney lied, yes he lied.
We were evicted, and then forced to pay over 35K in damages to the house, which we have not really seen, yes never really never saw it. The landlord basically had almost a brand new house.
She then sold the house very quickly. Very slick, yes very slick.
I would love to go to her company and tell the CEO what kind of employee they have, but I can't do that. No can't do that. Just leave it at that ok.
All this because of retalitation because of the lawsuit we have against her insurance company because thought she could get away with not having rails on the stairs going to the basement.
Enough said, will leave it at that.
But people I say this. If you go to landlord tenant court, you better have a lawyer. At least in Fairfax County Court here in Virginia. Otherwise, you will not be heard, you will be discriminated against and literally taken to the cleaners, yes it happened to us.
