I received a letter from Sure Financial Services saying I had won $250,000.00 from a department stores sweepstakes. Instructions state: Call claims agent David Akuwadik@1-209-580-8024 or 1-877-855-1760 for instructions. He told me to deposit the check,(provided to cover "pocessing fees") then call him back tomorrow. He sounded completely shady over the phone. I told him I didn't remember entering any sweepstakes, and he said that I was automatically entered by writing a check or presenting my debit card at Sears, Home Depot, Walmart, or another national store chain. He could not provide me with any other person to contact that could verify my winnings. He said I could either cash the check, or return it to him. The letter seems convincing enough, and the check enclosed was written from a Wells Fargo Bank account, but I'm glad I checked online and found these other complaints.
