On July 17, 2012, I saw a charge of $10.50 on my account from a "partsbikemall.com," which I did not make. I researched the company online and found that it was a supposed online campany that sells bike parts. Considering the fact that I do not own a bike, and had no need to purchase bike parts, I knew this HAD to be a fraudulent charge. My story is very similar to others I've seen on this site. I called my bank to report the transaction, and the bank rep stated that they had been getting several calls for transaction disputes against this particular company - ususally for small dollar amounts. I also called the number posted on www.partsbikemall.com, (707)984-4227. The first woman I spoke with asked for the last four digits of my card, and my last name; she confirmed my address and then stated that the item I "purchased" had not been shipped because the card could not be confirmed. She added that the amount would be refunded to my bank. I added that I DID NOT purchase anything from their website, and that I reported her company to my bank. I also asked her if others had been calling about the same thing. That is when she hung up on me. I called back a second time, and the second person I spoke with sounded exaclty like the first person; she also asked me to confirm the same information as the first woman. Both women had an accent - sounded kind of like a Russian accent. I am taking the time to do all this because I want these THIEVES to be caught and punished! People are working too hard these days to earn an honest living just to have some THIEVES to rob them of what they've earned. I am also going to report them to the FBI. I suggest that anyone else experiencing this problem also report www.partsbikemall.com to the feds.
