On May 11, 2011 I was viewing the Johnson American Bulldog Message Board for Sale page and notice a post made by Minor Rodriguez (know as Tico on the message board) who is located in Ewing, NJ, title "2 males for sale". I viewed that particular post and really liked the american bulldog male puppies that he had for sale. Shortly after I called a friend of mine who sold Tico the mother of the pups to inquire about Tico as a person. He spoke highly of Tico so soon after on that same day I emailed Tico explaining who I was and that I was interested in one of those 2 male puppies that he had for sale. On May 11th & 12th he emailed me back some picture of the pups and their parents. We began talking by phone and going over the cost, temperament of the pups & parents, shot records of pups, size of pups, and where he was located. Tico was asking $1700 plus shipping cost for these pups each. I explain to Tico on the phone that I really couldn't anymore than $1500 which also included shipping cost. Tico agreed to sell me the pup he call RJ for $1500(which included the shipping cost in that total price). By phone Tico and I discussed how I could pay for the male puppy he call RJ (red/brown pup with patches over both eyes) and he said just send the $1500 through pay pal and gave me his pay pal email to send it to (which is [email protected])so that's what I did on May 15, 2011. Tico called me and let me know that he received my money on May 15th. We were having difficulties with dates to ship the puppy to me. So, May 18th I received a very disrespectful email from Tico's wife (Tracey) whom I've not being doing any of this business with throughout this entire time. This email basically stated that I am trying to get over on the price of this puppy and now she is going to add some fees on to my total cost the puppy that I was purchasing. Since I wasn't doing business with her I ignored her and just gave Tico letting him know what she had done and how I didn't appreciate it at all. I explained to him that I've tried to do business with him the right way and I didn't like what his wife did at all. Tico then asked me what I want to do and I told him I just want my money back. He then tried to persuade me into getting the pup and I could here his wife Tracey in the back trying to do the same thing, but at that point I just wanted my money back. Tico agreed to give me my money back and told me that he was going to send it through pay pal. I received the money back through pay pal by his credit card (so I thought) and then I transfer it back into my bank account. About the end of June/beginning of July I began receiving phone calls from a 1-877-308-6578 number which I had no idea who it was so I didn't answer it and they never left a message. I just thought it was a telemarketer continuing to call me. On July 12th while I was out sick from my job I answered the phone call from this particular 877-308-6578 number and they explain to me that they were pay pal and was wondering how I was going to refund them their money. I was very confused so, they explain to me that Minor Rodriguez (Tico) had sent me money through pay pal by credit card, but he stop payment on that transaction making it credit card fraud. I said OK, why are you all call me I didn't do anything wrong and my bank has called me with any problems with my funds. They said they send me an email in June giving me 10 days to reverse this transaction which would have made Tico responsible for his actions which credit card fraud, but I never responded to them (pay pal) so that's why now I'm liable to pay this fee. I explain to pay pal that I didn't recall receiving nor seeing any emails from them with that such information in it and I also asked them why pay pal didn’t call me during this time like they are now. They explain and show me in their documentations that if the person who's receiving the funds in this type of situation does not respond within 10 days to their email that the receiver of the funds is now held liable to repay the fees. I then paid the fee and basically paid for a puppy that I never received.

  • Jernard,Since you have decided to make this public knowledge.
Let me start off by saying ,you wanted a pup from me .The pup was 8 weeks old,you told me that in one week he would be picked up by the shipper. The week went by,you told me that a different pet transporter would pick him up in 2 weeks ,you asked me to give the pup his next set of injections and to front line him,due to the last time this transporter brought you a dog .The dog had fleas. So i did all of that .Well when that didnt work out ,you then told me to ship by airplane to you,I was on my way out of the door to take this pup to the airport, you called me and told me to cancle the flight. In 3 days the pet transporter would be there to pick him up .So I did cancle the flight, and another week went by this pup was still with me,over a month later.we never agreed for me to hold onto this puppy for you,he was getting bigger and now 3 months old.So yes we did ask you want you wanted to do ,since we had lots of people looking at our pups, and a few wanted him.You backed out.I returned you the full payment back, remenber when you called paypal You had me on the other line.Paypal told you that they could not verify your checking acct since it was changed and you never updated your information with paypal. So after a certain amount of time the money is unclaimed they return it back,so yes they put it back on my credit card.In return you called me and told me that you really liked the way my pups were turning out,and regretted not getting the boy,and you aske me if I would send you my pick female.I did and you own and have her.So i would appreciate if your going to post anything up about me,state the facts.I am a very honest person, and what you stated above is just not the truth.By the way you brought up my wife in this remenber these are her dogs too,and the name TICO is taken from her.
