Purchased five tickets on-line for Nashville Shores....went that day. Parking is $9- as much as Sea World charges!

Next, we were told we could not bring the babies life jacket/swimsuit (one piece) into the park. My daughter talked to a young lady who was mgr on duty, but she said we had to rent theirs...if you could find one the correct size. (Poor little guy's head keep sinking into the neck hole! and it didn't matter how tight the jacket was on his crotch!) This also eliminated his swim suit! We also could not bring his sippy cup or finger foods into the park. (You had to pay for water!)

There were no directions on any of the rides...we took a two seat float up to the top of one slide only to be told that they only allowed one seat floats on this slide and we would have to go back down and get into line for the other slide with the two seat float. We even asked if we just had one person in the two seat float...but no. (Three life guards passed us on the way down and up during a shift change and not one said any thing!)

Then on the lazy river I was in a float with my grandson sitting in the middle and they told me he would have to have a life jacket on (HA...go rent one!) and that he could not sit on my lap. Yet they had no tubes for babies!

Two hours later, it started thundering and lightening and we were told we needed to get out of everything (Good call) and everything would be closed until further notice. So, on the way to the car I inquired about a refund. They said there would be none. Even if the park did not reopen. So we left and got lunch. Came back an hour later and they were still not up and running, so we left. I called on our way back home and found out they had reopened.

We got to use our tickets for two hours, so I called to ask for the Gen Manger and I was rudely refused. When I inquired to whom he was so I could contact by email or mail, I was hung up on.

We will never go back to this park ever! I will recommend to our youth group that we boy-cott them and drive to Bowling Green instead. It is a racket, scam, and a sham...shame on Nashville for having this happen to people who come to visit their city!

  • Nashville Shores has made changes this 2013 season! We apologize for your less than quality experience at Nashville Shores. We are now under new management and have made changes throughout the waterpark including hiring new park staff and placing a new, improved emphasis on guest services. As new management, we are working to address all the concerns of the past. At the waterpark, we are now offering FREE tubes and FREE sunscreen, and placed picnic tables outside the park to eat with your family. We are also now allowing personally-owned, Coast Guard approved lifejackets in the park. You can also bring a small, infant tube into the park. Please email us at [email protected] to address your concern directly. We are willing and happy to help. Again, we apologize for the less than quality you have experienced!

  • Yup, youth group went to Bowling Green...Why would we risk paying and then having a bad time again? Glad you updated and changed management...but you did nothing to entice another visit. Nothing was done to save us as a customer nor bring us back...poor marketing.
