On May 26, 2012, I went online to purchase tickets to an show in San Jose, CA. On Google, I typed the show and San Jose. The secord site to come up was boxofficesanjose.com which displayed photos of the show, the venue and had a seating configuration for the theater. I thought I was dealing with venue box office. I purchased two ticket for $150.00 each, plus a service fee of $63.00 and $15.00 shipping for a total of $378.00. On June 1, 2012, when the tickets arrived they were from Omaha, NE not San Jose, CA, and the name of the tickets was a John Uhrich, not mine. I contacted the venue, San Jose Center for the Performing Arts, and learned: my tickets had been purchased by John Uhrich for the amount of $73.00 and that transaction took place after me credit card was charged. Tickets In Time aka boxofficesanjose.com (or another major city in the U.S. or Canada) went to the official box office site listed 5th on Google and puchased my tickets, printed them out after removing the price section and then shipped them to me. At the time of my inquirey the Center had many tickets available for their highest priced seats of $73.00. I demanded a refund from Tickets In Time to no avail. The company business model is designed to mislead or deceive the consumer into believing they are dealing with the official box office for that event. They do show on page two of their web page that the are not the venue. I missed that and obviously so have scores of others who had complain regularly to all the Bay Area venues about this company ripping them off. This operation is not like ticketmaster.com or stubhub.com who are legitimate. If they are not dishonest why then not list their site a ticketsintime.com. and compete with the other ticket resellers. No one in their right mind would pay 2 or 3 times the price of a ticket they could get from the official venue box office and print them out. Fraud through deception
